Morrison Geotechnic Pty Ltd has developed from Soil Surveys Pty Ltd, which was founded in 1973 by Neville Morrison and specialised in geotechnical engineering, site investigations and engineering materials testing.
The Japanese-led, high-rise development of the Gold Coast waterfront in the 1970's and 1980's was largely supported geotechnically by Neville Morrison and his team at Soil Surveys Pty Ltd.
Morrison Geotechnic Pty Ltd was formed in 1999 as a specialist Geo-engineering consultancy supported by NATA accredited Soils and Materials Testing Laboratories. Today, Morrison Geotechnic Pty Ltd is a locally owned consulting geo-engineering practice operating from 3 locations in South East Queensland and specialising in geotechnical engineering, earthworks quality control, materials testing, soil science, engineering geology and groundwater hydrology.
