Dennis Riley is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Manager, Brisbane with 30 years professional experience in geotechnical engineering in Australia, Africa, UK and South-East Asia. He has been involved with geotechnical studies for power generation projects, industrial plants, high rise building projects, roads and bridges, dams, land reclamation projects, infrastructure projects, resorts, and mixed developments. Dennis has extensive experience in earthworks for large civil projects, bored pile and barrette foundations, deep basement support systems, deterministic and probabilistic slope stability in tropical environments and engineering in soft soils and karstic limestone formations. Areas of special interest include Geotechnical risk assessments, soft soil engineering and forensic engineering applied to failed slopes and landslides.

With professional development in geotechnical consulting and contracting environments, Dennis understands the necessity to formulate innovative or state-of-the-art design solutions that are practical, easy to construct and cost effective.

As Managing Director of Morrison Geotechnic, Dennis is responsible for the technical and financial performance of the Company.
