Russell is an environmental scientist in his 8th year as a working professional and has been with Morrison Geotechnic since 2005. He has worked throughout South Eastern Queensland, acquiring valuable knowledge and experience in a range of geotechnical fields, including Acid Sulfate Soils (including Management Plans and validation testing), Erosion and Sediment Control, Slope Stability, Effluent Disposal and general Geotechnical projects. Russell spent 8 months during 2003 working voluntarily at the Queensland Acid Sulfate Soils Investigation Team, where fieldwork improved Russell’s knowledge of Acid Sulfate Soils. Russell is involved in all aspects of geo-engineering investigations including deep and shallow structural foundations, residential and commercial development, subsurface drilling and logging, interpretation of borehole data, mapping, terrain evaluation, resource exploration, soil permeability and effluent disposal, piling assessment, and acid sulfate soils. Russell possesses intermediate information technology skills including environmental and geographic mapping using MapInfo and slope stability software including G Slope commercial software.
