Morrison Geotechnic prides itself on providing a Geotechnical Testing Service of the highest quality.
Morrison Geotechnic considers accurate and on - time test results as our core business. Where we stand alone from other Geotechnical Testing companies is our resource depth of experienced and knowledgeable laboratory teams. Under the leadership and guidance of the Laboratory Managers, our experienced technicians can provide troubleshooting advice on compaction methods, performance of differing construction materials & equipment and general earthworks problem solving.

We have the resources to provide accurate test results which will always meet the Clients' deadlines. We will not delay the project with slow turnaround of test results.

Our management, test procedures and methods are quality endorsed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 (1999).

We consider ourselves as an integral part of the construction team closely involved with delivering a high quality product on time.

We operate NATA accredited Soils and Materials Testing Laboratories from our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Caboolture offices. These laboratories support our Geo-engineering consulting businesses, as well as servicing external clients, including Statutory Authorities, land developers and contractors, and extractive industry and quarry operators. The services offered by our laboratories include:-

  • • Earthworks supervision, insitu and laboratory testing, and quality control to Australian Standards, Queensland Main Roads Methods and Road Traffic Authority Standards and other local body specifications 
  • • Problem solving for earthworks projects supported by our geo-engineering consulting resources, including wet soils and materials, subgrade improvement and compaction methods 
  • • Materials testing and evaluation for extractive industries, including road construction materials, quarries and extraction plants, and concrete aggregate plants 
  • • The investigation and analysis of existing pavements and construction materials 

Our geotechnicians routinely provide indicative earthworks compliance status reports whilst on site, usually positively confirmed within 1 day or as the standard allows, by the laboratory tests.
